The Society of Advice
with Carl Richards
Â
This is for advisors who value freedom.
ATTEND THE NEXT CONVERSATION
This is your invitation to build a practice that actually fits.
Greetings, Carl Richards here.
If traditional industry events leave you feeling off⌠youâre not alone.
The Society of Advice was built for advisors who want something different.
Not more noise.
Not a roadmap to 10x growth.
Just the space to ask better questions, explore new ideas, and build a business thatâs aligned with your life.
Each month, we gather live for a single conversation.
I handpick the topic. You bring your curiosity.
Together, we do the real work of rethinking whatâs possible.
Wrestling with a tough decision?
Tired of building toward someone elseâs idea of success?
Looking for clarity, not clutter?
The Society of Advice is where youâll find it.
Not in a backlog of recordings. But live. In the room. With a community that gets it.
If that sounds like something youâve been craving, join us.
We saved you a seat at the next monthly conversation.
No pressure. No promises.
Just an offering for advisors out there who are one of us đ
What's Included:Â
In a world drowning in content, everything is recorded and repurposed. Itâs gotten noisy out there. Weâre doing something different.
đ
đź No massive backlog of recordings you'll never watch.
đ
đźÂ No repurposed noise.
đ
đźÂ No fluff.
Just real-time conversations designed for presence and community.
Hereâs what you'll find when you join us:
- An advisor community that supports and challenges you.
- Live monthly conversations that are designed to spark insight and inspire action.
- Topics and guests handpicked by Carl Richards that focus on the real work of being a better advisor (and a better human).
Show up for 90 minutes. Engage fully. Youâll get more out of it than the monthly cost of your seat.
Come and see for yourself. Join us.

If clients arenât following through, youâre not alone.
Have you ever walked away from a client meeting and quietly asked yourselfâŚ
âWhy arenât they doing the thing we agreed on?â
You care deeply about your clients.
Youâve mapped out a thoughtful, technically sound plan.
But weeks or months later⌠the account still isnât open. The spending still isnât aligned. The hard conversation still hasnât happened.
Youâve probably wondered, with a touch of shame, âWhat am I doing wrong?â
It doesnât just apply to our clientsâwe do it, too!
We search desperately for another course, another guru, another tactic⌠anything to help us âfixâ the problem.
But what if the issue isnât that you donât have enough tactics?
What if the real question is: How do we help clients change, and how do we change?
June's Society of Advice workshop is all about that question.
Iâll be sharing a new frameworkâsomething Iâve been working on for years, quietly refining in conversations, sketchbooks, podcast episodes, and coaching sessions. Itâs called: The Deep Shift Framework.
Tactical Curiosity â Emotional Insight â Aligned Action â Deep Ritual
This four-stage model maps the real journey people go through when they try to live intentionally with their money. It begins with the questions we hear every day:
- âShould I buy this truck?â
- âAm I saving enough?â
- âWhich account should I use?â
And it ends with something far more meaningful: behavior that lasts. Ritual. Identity. Alignment.
In this workshop, weâll walk through each stage together⌠with real examples. Weâll look at how to use this model in your conversations, in your thinking, and in your own relationship with money.
Because if we want clients to change, we have to understand what change actually looks like.

"I really canât overstate how much value I get from these monthly calls with you and the rest of the gang. The work you do with us radiates out into the work we do with our clients, which then radiates out into the world more broadly. The leverage inherent in this is truly remarkable."
â Andy Baxley, CFPÂŽ, CIMAÂŽ, MSFP

"One of the things I appreciate the most about my Society of Advice Membership is that the first question on anyone's mind is not how much AUM or how many lists or how many awards someone has gotten, but how big a difference have we made in helping people truly LIVE their life to their fullest and best purpose. The conversation is uplifting, and having the insights of other advisors on how they help clients along this path is very valuable."
â Liz Whitteberry, CPWAÂŽ, RMAÂŽ, CFAÂŽ, CIPMÂŽ, ChFCÂŽ, AIFÂŽ

"I am so excited for our next meeting of The Society of Advice. You are crushing it out of the park with guests. This is a fantastic, amazing, and inspiring group."
â Cobin Soelberg M.D., J.D.
What is the time commitment?
When are the monthly workshops and Q&As with Carl?
Is it an investment or an expense?
Is this made for people at a specific point in their career? Or in a specific geographic location?
I don't give advice for a living or work directly with clients. Does that matter?
I run a team. Can I share this with them?
What are examples of past guests?
How do I cancel if I donât want to continue?
How does this compare to a free study group?
